Usually, of course, it is too cold and too wet to bring out my sketchbook, or I am with other people who want to get on with the walk. I have rarely pursued landscape drawing as an end in itself.
From time to time, however, I get a chance to make a quick sketch - usually when the rest of the family are enjoying a sunny picnic.
