I have recently start participating once again in life classes, at Stroud Life Drawing events, which take place at Stroud's "Centre for Science and Art" in Landsdown. Although the technique is somewhat rusty after a couple of decades of little systematic practice, I am starting to find my way again, and having fun playing around with photographs of my drawings using the conformal mapping transformation process. I try to aim for a degree of modification that leaves enough of the original image just about recognisable as human forms. I find the results interesting - but sometimes a little disturbing, with odd legs, arms and feet appearing in unusual places. You can find some of my original drawings on the Stroud Life Drawing website galleries (under the name "Michael").
Some of my earlier, more formally correct, life drawings are in this gallery.
